New Bern - River Bend

Incorporated in 1980 and chartered in 1981, River Bend is a beautiful waterfront and golfing community about five miles south of New Bern.  Most of the homes are single detached, single family residences, many of which are on the Trent River or on a canal or pond.  River Bend is home to The River Bend Country Club, an award winning 18 hole golf course, complete with a restaurant, pool, driving range, pro shop, and large banquet facility.  River Bend amenities are outstanding including a small community dock, tennis courts, a town municipal building with a meeting hall, the Red Caboose Library, and the Town Hall Park and Pond.
